UMass Amherst Highlights
As an undergraduate student at UMass, I took full advantage of the opportunities that were available to me. A few of the highlights of my time as an undergrad at UMass:
Playing an active role with student organizations like The Daily Collegian, WMUA, and the Student Alumni Association, to name a few
Building my leadership skills through service with Psi Chi (Psychology Honors Society), Student Government Association, and the University Democrats
Participating in a summer internship in Washington, D.C. through The Washington Center for Internships & Academic Seminars
Working as a Peer Educator for the Campus Recycling Program
Going to football games (and maybe being more excited about the Marching Band than the football!)
Cramming for Art History exams with Ewan
Getting graduation credits to improve my tennis game
Making friends at The Hillel House
Taking advantage of resources at the Student Union, like The Crafts Center
Studying abroad in Siena, Italy
Having wonderful mentors and advisors, like my Senior Honors Thesis Advisor, social psychologist Professor Linda Isbell PhD
Taking courses within the Five College Consortium
Enjoying Amherst and Northampton
And much more!
The Power of the UMass Amherst Alumni Network
As a steering committee member of the Boston Area Alumni Committee, I collaborated with fellow alums to organize social and networking events. I had the pleasure of building relationships and connecting with mentors.
I’m proud to have coached and mentored many UMass alumni from various disciplines and industries. I have served as a workshop facilitator for the Annual Career Retreat hosted by the Masters in Sustainability Science Program (MS3) and the College of Natural Sciences (CNS).
